15th to 21st April is National Gardening Week. But what’s that got to do with changing the world? Well, actually a couple of things.
I’ve just bought a packet of poppy seeds which I’ll be planting to help commemorate the centenary of WW1, a 10p donation has been made to the Royal British Legion for each packet sold.
I also bought some cornflower seeds, once a common sight in Britain the cornflower is one of a number of plants that is rapidly disappearing. These flowers also attract bees, helping to protect our bees.
